​Tampa Maternity, Birth and Family Photographer
I live in Tampa with my partner of 18 yrs and our beautiful twin girls born in Austin on Halloween of 2007. I am a lactation specialist (CLC and LLL leader)I am a natural light photographer. I specialize in maternity, birth and family photography.

It took me forever to pick up a camera for real. My mom kept trying to teach me how to use my camera in when I was a teen. I just did not think I had the patience to learn it. I thought understanding the camera meant having to understand math and numbers. Every-time I did pick up my camera I could not get out of it what I saw. It would frustrate me. I have always been artistic. (Majored in humanities and visual arts in college!) I also never had a subject that kept my attention long enough for me to want to learn how to use my camera.

Fast forward 20 years...

We now have the LGs (little girls)They are my constantly moving subjects and I want to document as much of their lives as I can and, I want to document it "as I see it". For the first few years of their lives, I would get frustrated whenever I would try to capture something. I could not get it to do what I wanted it to do. I would take pictures of them every day, but never was I satisfied with the results. I finally realized that I needed to learn how to use my camera and make it do what I wanted it to do. So, I learned the ins and outs of my camera. I keep learning every day. I have taken classes, done workshops and discovered that not only do I LOVE my camera, but I am quite good at capturing what I
